When is Grad Night?
Grad Night 2022 begins at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday June 1 and ends at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, June 2. Grad Night 2023 will be held off-campus at Coto Valley Country Club. This is the same as last year's venue, and it was a huge success. Transportation to and from the venue will be provided and is included in the cost of your ticket.
Graduates need to arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. at WHS for check-in and boarding of buses. Bus doors will close no later than 10 p.m.
When is the last day to buy a Grad Night ticket?
April 1, 2023. If you are not sure if you have purchased a Grad Night ticket, check the Who's Going list on this website. If you think you registered and do not see your name on the list, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org --you may not have completed your registration. Be sure to complete your waiver. Refunds will not be given after April 28th.
What time does Grad Night Start and where do I go to check in?
Grad Night begins at 10:00 p.m. on June 1st (Graduation Day). Check-in begins at 9:30 p.m. at the entrance of WHS near the flagpole. You will be checked in before boarding a bus which will take you to the venue. Please bring a photo ID to check in (student ID or driver's license). We recommend that you bring the fewest personal items possible.
What is the latest time that I can arrive at Grad Night?
9:45 p.m. We recommend that you arrive as early as possible, so you don’t miss any of the fun. No one will be able to board a bus after final check-in at 10 p.m.
Can I drive myself to Grad Night?
No one will be permitted to drive to the venue. Transportation will be provided from WHS to Coto de Caza. We encourage parents to drop off and pick up Grad Night attendees at WHS. Attendees will be up all night, and may be too tired to drive in the early morning. If you do choose to drive yourself to check-in at WHS, please try to carpool.
When does Grad Night End?
Grad Night ends at 5:00 a.m. on June 2nd. Graduates will board buses to return to Woodbridge High School campus following the event.
What should I wear to Grad Night?
Comfortable clothes. There is an outdoor area at the venue and it may be cold during the night. Please dress accordingly. Grad Night Committee will not be responsible for any personal items that are lost or left behind.
What should I bring to Grad Night?
Bring your cell phone (fully charged). There will be lots of photo ops!
We recommend that you bring the fewest personal items possible.
Do I need money at Grad Night?
No! All activities, food and entertainment are included in the price of your ticket. You will also win raffle tickets when playing games.
How can I get photos taken at the event?
We encourage all attendees to bring cell phones, take pictures throughout the event, and share them via Instagram, tagging them with #whsgradnight2023. There will also be photo booths throughout the event.
How do I win prizes and where do I pick them up?
You enter to win prizes by earning raffle tickets. Everyone will receive 5 raffle tickets for registering. And anyone who completes registration by November 4th (by submitting payment and a waiver) will receive 5 additional raffle tickets. The raffle tickets will be handed out during check-in on June 1st. Put your raffle tickets (write your name and cell number on the back of the ticket) in the box provided. The raffle drawing will occur towards the end of the event.
PLEASE NOTE – Even though students have graduated, the IUSD/WHS behavioral code of conduct and rules still apply. If anyone comes to Grad Night under the influence of drugs or alcohol, his/her parents or guardians will be contacted and he/she forfeits admission to the event. Grad Night is a fun, safe, and sober celebration for all!
