Grad Night is an exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime all night event designed to provide a safe, sober, and spectacular celebration for our WHS graduates. The Grad Night concept originated through the efforts of concerned parents for the safety and well-being of their children on graduation night, which statistics show to be one of the highest-risk nights for teen drinking and driving and peer pressure. Since the first Grad Night was created, Grad Night celebrations have become a staple for graduating seniors throughout the United States. These celebrations provide a drug and alcohol-free environment and also the time of your life!
Every year WHS Grad Night hosts a new theme for their event with a diverse array of attractions and entertainment including food, games, rides, music, dancing, crafts, raffles and prizes, artists, photo opportunities, a casino, live show, and much more. There is truly something for everyone! The more graduates we have there, the more activities we are able to provide and the celebration is even more fabulous. Voted “Best Graduation Party” by IUSD's Board, Woodbridge High School has been a spectacular celebration on campus for more than 30 years. This long-standing tradition receives positive accolades every year from our Warrior attendees - “I had so much fun!” - “I am so glad I was there!” - “I wish I could do it all over again!” - “There is so much to do, you can't possibly do it all!"
Grad Night is also a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends and fellow Warriors to make lifelong memories, reminisce about high school years, discuss future plans, take photos together, and say goodbye before starting out on life’s next chapter.
Finally, Grad Night is more than just a party. It is a commitment by parents, school administration and the community to join together to create something truly special for our graduates, and most importantly, to keep our kids safe while having fun on graduation night. Grad Night enables students to unite one last time as the "Class of 2021" and to build on a spirit of togetherness while making memories that will last a lifetime.
Grad Night 2021 begins at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday June 3 and ends at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, June 4. It is held on Woodbridge High School Campus.
Graduates need to arrive between 9:45 and 10:45 for check-in. However, we encourage early check-in so that grads can enjoy the festivities from 10-11 p.m. Graduation is held at 4:00 p.m. and lasts approximately one hour, which allows ample time for families to enjoy dinner and time together after the graduation ceremony and before Grad Night check-in begins.
Since safety is our utmost concern, we require that all students arrive for check-in no later than 10:45 p.m. and that they stay until check-out at 5:00 am. Parents will be notified if their graduate fails to arrive or desires to leave early. Please speak with the event Chair prior to Grad Night to discuss any concerns with this policy. This policy helps ensure that all graduates return directly home to their families after the celebration, to be found safe and sound.
Tickets are all-inclusive and provide access to all food, activities, rides and attractions inside the event!
Please note that tickets will only be available for purchase until September 30, 2020, to ensure that we can book an amazing event. For the avoidance of doubt, if we have not sold enough tickets by September 30, 2020 to fund this event, we will have to cancel the event and refund your payment. Please buy your ticket now and tell your friends to do the same!
Except in the case of the above scenario, tickets are non-refundable after September 30, 2020
