We are moving Grad Night off campus due to ongoing uncertainty about the availability of WHS campus for our event. We are excited to be able to move forward on celebrating our seniors at Grad Night! The venue will remain a surprise for our grads.
June 3, 2021
Grad Night typically starts in the evening (after graduation and family celebrations) and goes until early the next morning. The hours of the off-campus event may change and are still TBD.
1. Masks will be required for entry, in addition to temperature checks. Anyone exposed to Covid within two weeks of June 3 or having symptoms at the time of the event, will not be able to attend. All tickets in these instances will be refunded.
2. An additional waiver (to our original waiver) will need to be signed by both student and parent, regardless of whether or not the student is 18 years old.
3. Each student will be required to be driven to the venue and picked up by a parent after the event has concluded.
All students and adults will be required to use a breathalyzer upon entry. If anyone comes to Grad Night under the influence of drugs or alcohol, he/she forfeits admission to the event and will not be refunded. Grad Night is a fun, safe, and sober celebration for all!
The surprise element to Grad Night is crucial for its success and is the practiced model by countless schools in OC. When the location is known in advance these types of things are known to happen:
a. Kids stalk the venue and stash items like drugs and alcohol in hopes to access them during the event.
b. Students and friends from other schools try to crash the event.
c. Non-ticketed graduates also try to crash the event in hopes to get in free.
The venue itself is not what carries the grandness of Grad Night. Without the surprise element, a venue in and of itself can sound underwhelming. But once the graduates arrive, they are met by an amazing atmosphere, and they have the time of their lives. The atmosphere and activities are what make the event extraordinary. We are fortunate to have a superb alternative to WHS campus not too far from Irvine.
The location is beautiful, with much outdoor space. The indoor space has a very large capacity and our numbers will easily fit within the 25% capacity maximum per state requirements. The outdoor areas will spread kids out even further. The venue is an amazing find and is not far from Irvine. Our kids will remain safe in addition to having such a fabulous time!
If you did not purchase a ticket in September 2020, we still have spots available. We would love you to be there! Please click here to register.
